I am determined to blog a lot today to make up for the past few days.
Let's recount.
Well, i basically did nothing on thursday but wallow in self-pity because my mother PSKed (Pang Seh Kiah - ed, for those who don't know) me. & i turned out that i got even more restless cooped up at home doing NOTHING!!! but stare at the computer for an entire afternoon (and wallowing in self-pity). I had so much unused energy left that i only went to sleep that night/morning at 3am.
I was thus in a rather bad shape on Games Fest day, having to wake up early and lung lots of stuff in prep for that afternoon's Flea/Shopping trip.
Games Fest was a whole joke because i was hyperly unenthusiastic. The only games i played that day was Hockey and Burnout on my DS. Boo. Was glad to see Ah Lian back in school though, and I specially brought a pack of grape biscuits for her. :D Yum.
Updated each other on Hockey gossips and spent some time with Jin, Shalom and Wanching trying to murdur Mar with our Granades, Bombs, Riffles and Cannons. Cooooool.
Cheered for PP's capty ball game, weehee!
Bathed, lazed around to wait for tardy Yan before hitting town. Saw a few shirts in town that were nice but uh, not really that worth me spending money on. Woohoo, i'm a picky shopper. Bought some very retarded earstuds for Mar though, haha, really looks damn retarded like her.
Met up with sexyQian and Bean and ate at Crystal Jade's Xiao Long Bao! Yum! Headed to Taka's basement for Desserts (BeardPapa's Strawberry Cream Puff! DAMN GOOD!) talkedtalked and decided to head to Flea. Thank's to Ah Qian's ingeniously bad idea, we cabbed down to SMU, wasted 4 bucks when we could have taken a direct bus service. Loitered around their Economics and Social Science campus and taught them how to con the uh new Coke vending machine.
Walked around more, we could not find the Flea anywhere in sight.
Walked more, asked a few girls that looks kinda hip. No flea market here.
Hmm, what's going on.
Hmm. We walked to a nearby 7-11 and checked XX Magazine for the Flea details, yup, picture on Mag is this SMU.
Starts to wonder if we're at the wrong place. Recalled Cab uncle's queery if we were heading for Bras Basar's SMU or Bukit Timah's SMU.
Oh, maybe Flea is at Bukit Timah.
Walked from SMU to Dhoby Ghaut interchange and hailed a cab.
We got lost in the cab.
We ended up at CCAB.
Made me feel like i was going for training.
Gosh, its's NUS here, not SMU.
Blarrrdee helllll. Was cursing and swearing and sweating like a Chao Ah Lian.
Really pissed.
Sat at some bench, and supposedly NUS shuttle bus bus stop.
Qian asked some students walking out of NUS if the Flea's here.
One kindly told us its at Main Campus (Translate, Kent Ridge, Translate, Clementi, Translate, We wasted SO MUCH FREAKING CAB FARE AND SHOPPING TIME!?!?!?)
Cussed more, and my swear words were getting louder by the minute.
Called up friends to ask for XX Magazine's number so we can lodge a complaint.
I ended up calling SPH's mainline (yes, the magazine is under SPH) and huffily told her to direct me to the complaint section. GOSHHHH, & it turned out to lead to some VOICEMAIL!!!!!! PIIIIIIISSSSED.
Sat and lazed and discussed what to do now.
Finally moved butts to go to KAP's ColdStorage to buy dinner to dine at Shawn's. Cabbed to his house ( ARUGGGH!!!! CAB FARES!!!!!!! ) Reached, ate, crapped, rushed home to look after bro who was uh home alone... Had to miss my alcohol & mahjong session with the rest. ):
Boo, Weeyong called around 9 to haolian about the fun there. RAUGH!!!!!!

So in the end, i din't do anything constructive on Friday when i was so loooooooooooking forward to it. I bought nothing, i felt like a fool cabbing around Singapore in vain for that Flea, and i din't get my alcohol. Suckssssxzsx.

Anw, i was surfing the net about DS and i found out that....
- They originally plan to release the DS in 4 colors. In White, Baby Blue, Navy and Lime Green (Uh, they gave it very fanciful names, but i think this is easier for you guys to visualise). BUT SOMEHOW, they decided that Lime Green wasn't a good enought colour, so they scraped it's production!! HOW CAN!!!?!? Do you know, the lime green colour looks damn good? DO YOU KNOW OR NOT?
- Thereafter, they released another 2 colours of it, Black and Baby Pink to uh i don't know why actually. OMGOSH WHY NO GREEEEN!?!?!? ):
- They released a Maple Story DS game in Sept this year in Japan! COOOOOOOOOL! I wanna get it when it hits town! SeowChoon again! YES!

- I was staring at the Beard Papa's cartoon on their website and i realised Beard Papa has a HUGE nose. GOSH. LOL.
