Haha, if you don't get what i mean by "insects and alcoholic beverages", YOU'VE MISSED OUT ON POSTCAMPSTEAMBOATBOOYOU! Yeah, of course steamboat and camp was truckloads of fun *duh*, so no more explanation would need to be done about that. I'm here for a more important reason.
You know, i really don't know about the rest of you guys but i am really going to go crazy soon if i don't make known of my thoughts to everyone. Its a really suffocating feeling to be unable to share as openly as i should to the rest of the team when so many of our favourite quotes from movie Miracle was " we're family ".
I'm going to say i'm very sorry if anyone of you all will be annoyed, offended or will hate me for life for what i'm going to say, but i really really really really really cannot stand the attitude that Ariel has for this game that i am so passionate about. I really cannot stand it when someone is playing this game for some god-knows whatever reason other than the simple love for hockey when there is no effort put in on her part to strive to play the best that she can be.
It's really really really upsetting, frustrating and dissapointing to know that someone in our 11 man on pitch is not putting in as much effort as everyone eles who is running, struggling, going all out to fight to put that little white ball into the opponent's net. I don't care if you insist that you did fight equally hard or more than us Ariel, because i don't see it. I don't see your love for hockey, and i seriously don't think you love hockey. I really don't get what the heck is wrong with you, and it really irks me damn lot when i have to work with people who do not care as much as i do about something that is really important to me and the rest of my team. You know, i hate lazy people, i hate people who give up easily and i absolutely hate people who do things for the sake of doing it, with absolutely no emotional attachment. If you 'dont mind' being the goalie, then bloody hell do your job well! Stop giving excuses, and saying that you don't know this and that. If you don't know something, open your golden mouth and ask! Giving excuses instead is even more telling what kind of attitude you have towards hockey. If we can sacrifice time and put homework and important assignments aside for hockey, i don't see why you are so special that you get to skip hockey so that you can finish your history essay that is due the next day.
You know, i felt kind of guilty for screaming so loudly at you when you made a mistake with the ball that time, because nobody's saint and all. But the more i think about it, the more i feel justified for my scream at you because i have all the right to be angry with someone who feels completely no remorse for the other mistake which the consequence was a goal. You made no apology to the team for your mistake, and you completely showed no effort to block that shot with all you've got. It is to you, just a mistake, nevermind. IT IS TO US, PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE, A DECIDING GOAL, THAT LOST US A GAME. Do you actually know the implications of that mere mistake you've made? It exerts a hell lot of pressure on the rest of us to now convert the goal so that we're equal on the scoreline, and not lose the game. Do you think your action deserves to put the rest of us who are trying so hard in a mode of anxiety? Do you think what you did was fair to rest of the team who had spent so much more time and effort into this sport than you? Do you think with your attitude now you are actaully deserving of playing hockey? Playing for NJC HOCKEY? Playing for us the team? Playing for our seniors who lost Top 4 & get it back for them? I dont think you do, i don't even think you're deserving to wear any hockey related shirt, because your attitude is not even fit to play this sport that we love, much less call yourself a player of this sport.
If i was in power, if i have the ability to do something, i would like to suggest that you quit hockey. Quit being a burden to people who are fighting so much for their love and passion, save the flock the pain and suffering they would have to go through with the exit of the black sheep. We may lack numbers, but we can always do without a player like you.
Respect needs to be earned. Redemptions need to be justified with actions. Time cannot buy you match experience, but time can definitely buy you hours of hard work with the will to improve and be the best in their position. I'm not condeming you or anything, i just have the need to voice my opinions, and i hope if you ever read this, read it with an open mind. I hope you are able to reflect upon your actions, and prove me wrong in whatever i've said about you. I hope if you choose to continue and stay on in hockey, you will do something and change for the better. After all, i am sure there exist somehow a reason why did you choose hockey as your cca.
