Happy Birthday Mom!
Crap, my progess for the hum geog va is like way slow. I keep getting distracted.
Went for my 2nd BMDP cip sale ysterday. Haha, after arriving late for about 1/2 an hour, me and jinyin reluctantly dragged our feets to walk around to sell stuff. Started by lagging at cathay. Haha, we wenta adidas and played the foosball table & we're so bad at it that we kept doing own goals. & we tried bags and stuff and whined and berated about what bags we should get for team bag. Saw the blue version for the brown & orange bag that angela has, my, its pretty pretty too. It's the same colour as one of my bras, so it can match you know! :D
Felt guilty and decided not to lag anymore, we walked back to Plaza Sing & attacked a group of scouts :D HAHA, my word, they're damn good lah, bought so much stuff from us! Earned like 60 bucks from them ok! Then we decided to reward ourselves by lagging at PS. :D bought food to eat at the foodcourt and walked around thinking about hmm, stuff which i shldnt disclose here. Walked into this er, dunno wht shop and took my time to choose a necklace for my mom. :D since i felt guilty for getting her something crap for mothers' day. Walked arnd somemore and decided we should stop lagging and go do work.
Saw clement and his two classmates selling stuff too. HAHA, wenta talk to them and compared sales. They're doing quite well i think, haha, considering their lag time is only very little. LOL. Procrastinated & went to lag MORE at Dhoby Ghaut exchange & ate our favourite soya bean products from Mr. Bean there. Sat down and read TIME mag while eating. By this time, we seriously felt like such a pig for eating so much and decided to WORK WORK WORK WORK! Joined clement's group and we stationed there for the remaining of our time to sell our stuff. Haha, sales was not bad. :D That's cause we targeted (sterotyping) people before approaching them. So most of the time we were pretty sucessful.
Went back to round up our sales and met Ronda & Shiying who were such pros! They sold all their ugly flower ornaments! Btw people, i still have 2 ugly flower ornaments left to sell, going @ $5 bucks each! In total, me and JinYin sold like 90 bucks worth of products :D, haha, so that's like 45 bucks each. & I realised this kind of sales, you need to really not waste your energy to attack attack attack people to buy, you must acquire certain skills and technique ok! Eg: 1. stating that you're from NJ helps. ALOT. 2. Wearing half-u that screams NJ helps, ALOT too. 3. approach people STROLLING, LAUGHING, & preferbly in a group :D, they'd most probably stop and listen to you and help you :D. 4. MUST SMILE! & BE PERSUASIVE.
Yups, so i went to Parkmall to wait for my dad to come to fetch me to go Maxwell for dinner. To celebrate mom's birthday. Oh man, i ate MORE there despite being a little full already. Had chicken rice from the famous TIAN TIAN HAINANESE CHICKEN RICE STALL, & truthfully speaking... :/ i thought the one we had in clarkquay on new year's eve was better. Had my all time favourite sugar cane too. & we walked arnd chinatown with my popo after that. & OMG, i saw this rainbow flag hanging outside this massage parlour. MY GOD, i was damn shocked and stood rooted for like eh, 2 mins. Incase you guys din't know what does a rainbow flag outside a shop means, it meant that the shop welcomed homosexuals. Wow. Ive read on papers that such shops exist and stuff but ive never seen one before. What an eye-opener for me.
Gave my mom her present on the way home & she was HAHA, damn happy. She said i was telepathic because she had been wanting to get a new necklace for v long. She even hinted to my dad to get one for her but apparently my dad dint lah. HAHA, and she thought dad asked me to get the necklace for her. HAHA, her reaction is quite funny lah. Its like at first when i threw her the plastic bag, she thought i was throwing her, what, rubbish. HAHA, then she thought it was chocolate or something, which i have no idea why, before she realised it was a necklace. & she totally forced me to tell her the price of the present lah! (where got mom like that one!) cause she dint want me to spend excessively on her present. :( lol
Went to back to maxwell and bought ham chee pengs (YUM) before going home. GOD. i was so so tired that i cldnt even stay away for TV. Slept like pretty early and kept waking up in the middle of the night due to various reasons. had such a fitful sleep that my brain's not oxygenated properly when i woke up lah. Which results to why i am not concentrating well for my phy geog va. Oh well, i can say im eh, around 1/4 done for it. Must chiong tonight alrdy, if not jingqi will kill me man.
